MISSION STATEMENT

To be a successful "Heritage Railway Group" promoting the awareness & history of the once Iconic Woodhead Railway Line through the Woodhead Railway Museum.

To encourage working volunteers to work safely while volunteering within the railway environment and to have the opportunity to learn new skills and crafts.
To work with key players to encourage tourism to the local area and to have a welcoming environment for the station commuters.

Should any opportunities arise in the future, to then work in partnership with all stakeholders to achieve the feasibility of new projects preserving what remains of the Woodhead Railway Line.
